Chief Human Resources Officer

Christin Merkel is Chief Human Resources Officer at ISS STOXX with responsibility for the company’s global people-agenda, including culture, talent, and organizational capabilities. She leads a global team comprised of human resources and talent acquisition professionals. With more than 20 years’ experience transforming and enhancing corporate talent and culture, Christin works collaboratively with ISS STOXX business and functional heads to develop human resources programs and policies that further the company’s strategic business objectives.

Prior to joining ISS STOXX, Christin served as Executive Vice President of Global Talent & Organization Effectiveness at PVH Corp., parent company of Calvin Klein and Tommy Hilfiger, where she led enterprise-wide talent strategy for more than 26,000 associates overseeing talent management, leadership development, succession planning, performance management, change management and organizational design. Before PVH, she held senior global talent and organization effectiveness roles across a variety of industries: beauty (Wella Company), telecommunications (Verizon), and manufacturing (Honeywell), partnering with boards and executive teams to drive enterprise-wide transformation in organizations with up to 160,000 employees.

Christin holds a Master in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University and a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and Human Resources from SUNY Buffalo. She is also a certified Executive Coach and a Lean/Six Sigma Black Belt.
