ISS STOXX Enhances Corporate Rating with Governance QualityScore Data

NEW YORK (April 23, 2026) —ISS STOXX, a leading provider of comprehensive and data-centric research and technology solutions that help capital market participants identify investment opportunities and risks, today announced it has augmented its Corporate Rating with Governance QualityScore data.

The enhanced Corporate Rating leverages ISS STOXX’s rich stewardship expertise, combining robust sustainability signals with deep governance analytics. It is a differentiated offering in the market helping investors make better portfolio decisions by transforming complex information into clear, actionable signals for screening, allocation, and engagement.

“The ISS STOXX Corporate Rating delivers the clarity and incisive insight investors need to navigate an increasingly complex market environment,” said Till Jung, Head of the Sustainability Business for ISS STOXX. “Our newly enhanced Corporate Rating combines trusted methodologies and transforms fragmented sustainability, governance and financial risk data into robust insights. The Corporate Rating supports investors across a wide range of use cases —from managing risks and meeting evolving regulatory requirements, to building high‑performing, sustainable portfolios and delivering transparent reporting and stakeholder communications.”

The Governance QualityScore elements in the Corporate Rating evaluate four pillars: Board Structure, Shareholder Rights, Compensation, and Audit & Risk Oversight. The underlying raw scores of the Governance QualityScore solution are converted within the Corporate Rating, to the Corporate Rating’s standard 12-point scale ranging from A+ (excellent performance) to D- (poor performance). This alignment streamlines analysis and enhances comparability across industries. The Governance QualityScore decile scoring-based product remains as a standalone, complementary offering.

The ISS STOXX Corporate Rating is available via SFTP, API, or an intuitive web-based analytics dashboard, enabling seamless integration into investors’ existing workflows and tools.
